If you want to play Blizzard titles (such as Overwatch, World of Warcraft, or Diablo III) on Steam, you’ll need to go through a somewhat lengthy configuration process to bypass the client and load the games through Steam alone.

Anyways, I updated my password to a shorter length and removed all of the special characters and bam the login worked. Currently, my password was alphanumeric with special characters and quite lengthy. Older application didn't have as wide of a net for acceptable passwords like the time frame of when this game first came out.

A user said that his password was too long and then it clicked. Nothing was working until I came across a stray comment on a similar post that was in the Steam forum. When I say everything I mean it, I cleared my cache, flushed my DNS, checked product key codes, etc. I too was unable to login into the Spore server and I tried all of the helpful tips from the EA support staff and nothing.

I wanted to send this response as I have found a solution that deals with this issue but is not rooted in confirming product registration.
